I officially started this new journey in 2021. As a previous project manager, I was an endurance athlete for more than a decade in the trail running community, focusing on a plant-based diet, lots of yoga and meditation. I’ve never met a client that didn’t really feel challenged through the pandemic. I was no different. I had some serious heart issues and I took it as the final wake up call to do something very different. I haven’t looked back. I think as a community we have a lot more in common than not and we thrive IN community, with support and non-judgement. I’m passionate about building a journey to strength, inside and out with my clients. I’d love to be part of a team to support you with building ease in the gym, wherever you’re at in the process. I absolutely still love cardio but I believe there’s a lot of increasing science to support the importance of building strength for longevity, and to remain injury free in any of life’s pursuits.

Working with me, we’ll work as a team to discuss goals, chase some joy, build some confidence in and out of the gym, share lots of resources, talk about simple foods and ditching diet culture for good. My belief is that fitness is not just about strength training, but also about fueling your mind and body, hydration, sleep, mindset, moving your body throughout the day and chasing some joy. The goal for me is to create a personalized program that addresses all aspects of your health and wellness.
Choose from either a one-time training session, a nutrition consult or select packages that support a change in lifestyle. Lifestyle changes take support, a plan and practice. Occasionally, there are offerings of small group classes and workshops that I offer as part of the Chronic Disease Program Educator team at any of the three Tacoma YMCA locations.
